Bulls Head 1 NW Fire 1
Half Time 1-1
Scorer: Adam Sutcliffe

The Fire had a strong line-up for the game against Bulls Head.

Despite the strong line-up it was a poor start from The Fire as Bulls Head looked dangerous going forward especially in the air. It was no surprise that the first goal came from bad defending with nobody clearing the ball from a throw in and Bulls Head having a simple job to score from inside the 6 yard box.
The Fire responded well and started to create some half chances but despite enjoying good possession it was their opponents who looked likelier to score, hitting the post and also forcing a superb point blank save from Chris Dean. After surviving the scares The Fire hit back to equalise. A long ball was played into the penalty area by James Donnan and Lee Knott knocked the ball accross to Adam Sutcliffe to rifle home.

The second half was a scrappy affair with lots of free kicks from fairly innocuos looking challenges.

Sutty netted the equaliser for The Fire

Bulls Head probably created more chances in the match but The Fire will feel disappointed not to have snatched a late winner with Luke Fleming wasting a good opportunity and Lee Knott pulling a good save out of the Bulls Head keeper. A 1-1 draw though was a fair result as neither team really did enough to win it.
