ECSFL League Match 19 |

|
| The Fire were looking to continue their sequence of league wins to 7 in a row but came unstuck despite getting off to a very good start. With chances at either end the game was in the balance until Lee Knott scored to give the Fire the lead. The Fire doubled their advantage when Dan Moss refused to give up on a long bal knocked forward and got to it before the keeper to drive it home. Disley though were looking dangerous and but for some wasteful finishing the scoreline would have been hugely different at half time. |

Half
Time 2-0 |
The second half saw Disley create and miss several opportunities. Shaun Lloyd-Griffiths then had a header cleared of the line which would have made it 3-0 The narrow escape spurred on Disley and they finally pulled one back with a close range header. In the dying minutes calamity befell the Fire when Robert Green was adjudged to have brought down a Disley player in the box and the resultant penalty gave Disley a point they fully deserved and ended the Fire's winning sequence. |
