| The Fire started brightly and had a few shots from distance which failed to find the target. Rileys took the lead towards the end of the first half when a harsh penalty was awarded against Dave Carrington. Gareth Hughes saved the spot kick but was adjudged to have moved off his line and Rileys converted their second attempt. |

The second half saw the Fire again failing to work the Rileys keeper as they were wasteful with their finishing. Rileys were considerably sharper in front of goal and Gareth Hughes made an excellent save to keep the score at 1-0. However the respite wasn't to last long as Riley's scored agin after the Fire failed to clear. With Rileys growing in confidence they then added two more as the Firestruggled. |
